Welcome to the CCA
Fisheries Committee
Information Page
CCA develops its fisheries positions and
policies through the active participation of volunteers throughout its
17 state chapters. Each committee is made up of dedicated
conservationists who are appointed by their state chapters to educate
themselves on various fisheries issues, participate in committee
meetings, and develop conservation-minded positions for consideration by
the CCA National Government Relations Committee.
With the guidance of a region-specific fisheries
expert, each committee previews and reviews the issues under
consideration by the relevant federal fishery management regulatory
agencies.
